Rochester experienced its 9th warmest and 15th wettest summer on record this year.  Now, there's one more highlight of the June through August period:  it was the muggiest summer on record.  The National Weather Service says the average dewpoint reading during the three months was 63.1 degrees, the highest ever.  It was four degrees higher than the normal average and three-tenths higher than the previous record set in 1995.  That was the same year a dewpoint of 82 degrees was reported at the airport - the highest on record.  This past July 14th, the dewpoint reached 81 degrees.
